Glencoe family photography in kilts
Carolyn and Mike wanted to have a family memory from their one-year stay in Scotland. They are an American family living in California, so hiring a photographer and driving to the Scottish Highlands made perfect sense to capture the essence of the Scottish spirit. I am grateful to be chosen to document it.
They have stayed overnight in Glencoe House which is a really cool hotel with beautiful surroundings. It was where we started our photoshoot. I really appreciate the effort put into their outfits which made for even more beautiful photographs. Unfortunately, the rain prevented us from staying there for too long, so we had to head out to our secondary location the Three Sisters Car Park, which was only a few minutes away from the hotel. It was still raining when we have arrived at the spot. I didn’t lose hope though and 15 mins later we had a beautiful clear sky with moody clouds. Even though it was very cold and windy, the whole family was enduring it like champs. I’m super happy with how many different captures we have managed to take in such a short amount of time. I hope you will enjoy viewing them.
