The wait is over. I’m so pleased that I can finally share photographs from this fantastic polish wedding of Ania and Piotr from a few weeks ago. They recently moved back from USA after their graduation as they had always dreamed of getting married in their home town Ełk, an amazing little town in the Mazurian Lake District in the northeast of Poland. They chose a beautiful venue known as Perła Mazur which, is located at the lake Szarek with some of the most wonder scenery.
July is typically very hot in Poland but this year it was different. It rained throughout for most of my stay there leaving me feeling like I was still in Scotland :).
The ceremony was supposed to be outside near the lake under a beautiful gazebo which you will see in some of the photos, but unfortunately the ceremony had to be moved inside as it didn’t stop raining. We all remained positive throughout all of this and after a few hours we were greeted by a lovely sunset.
The entire day was filled with laughs, great fun, games, food and obviously a lot of vodka which is standard practice at a Polish wedding :). I really loved their first dance. It was stunning and I can’t wait to see the video footage of it.
In my next post I will share photographs we took after the wedding so stay tuned.
I want to thank Mr & Mrs Niebrzydowski for allowing me to be a part of their amazing wedding day.
