Scotland holiday family photography Rest and Be Thankful
Rest and be Thankful viewpoint in the west part of Scotland is a stunning location for family photography. It was really popular for me last year and I can see why. It’s a hidden gem not too far from Glasgow, nestled between the picturesque towns of Arrochar and Inveraray.
In my opinion, the best time to visit this spot is during the autumn, winter, and early spring months. That’s when the vegetation takes on beautiful shades of brown, yellow, and green. It creates a stunning backdrop for family portraits.
Last year, Jennifer and Robert flew all the way from the USA with their three boys and Jennifer’s mom to experience Scotland’s beauty. They reached out to me to capture their special moments at Rest and Be Thankful, and I was thrilled to set a date and travel there once again.
During our session, we didn’t have the chance to explore nearby locations like Butter Bridge or Arrochar, but that’s something I’ll be sharing in future blog posts. However, we made the most of our time at Rest and Be Thankful. We captured a wide range of emotions and had lots of fun with the mix of beautiful backgrounds this place has to offer.
