Vintage engagement photography Hamilton Chatelherault Country Park

A few months after photographing Adaora & Sam’s wedding, I have been contacted by their friend Idris, who was one of the guests there. He was impressed with their photographs and he wanted me to photograph his and Aisha’s engagement shoot. They live in Preston, England but were keen to drive to beautiful Scotland and came fully prepared with a van full of props and heads full of great ideas.

Originally we were supposed to shoot in Pollok Park, but there was no car access at the time so we decided to shoot in Chatelherault Country Park instead. I’m glad we chose this location as it was perfect for it. I don’t want to spoil the story describing it, so instead, I will let the images tell it. Enjoy.

Here they have changed their outfits and Idris has set up different props. I really like their attention to detail. As you can see here, Aisha is being supprised with a romantic glass of wine and receives a card that reveals their wedding date.

Just before we left I asked them to change the clothing again so I can get this night panorama. It was a team effort to create it as I had to light each element of the building and needed Idris’s help to achieve it. It turned out fantastic.
