Conic Hill couples photography
Rachelle and Daniel came to Scotland to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and I had the pleasure of photographing them in one of my favorite spots – Conic Hill in Balmaha. This location is perfect for couples who want to combine a short hike with breathtaking views over Loch Lomond.
We met at the car park in Balmaha and started our walk up the trail together. The weather could not have been more atmospheric. Mist was rolling across the loch, and soft rays of sun kept breaking through the clouds. It created that magical Scottish mood that makes Conic Hill couples photography so unique. Every few steps revealed a new view, and I knew we were in for an incredible session.
About halfway up the hill, we reached a beautiful spot with open views across the islands of Loch Lomond. This was the perfect place to pause for photos. Rachelle and Daniel were funny, relaxed, and completely themselves in front of the camera, which made capturing their connection effortless. The mix of laughter and quiet moments really reflected their personalities and their anniversary celebration.
After spending time on the hillside, we made our way back down and finished the session at the beach in Balmaha. The shoreline provided a softer, more intimate setting to balance the dramatic landscapes of the hill. It was a peaceful end to a session filled with energy, laughter, and unforgettable views.
