There’s something truly magical about capturing a surprise proposal – and Becca & Oscar’s moment at the University of Glasgow was no exception.

Oscar reached out to me in September, eager to plan the perfect proposal during their trip to Scotland in late October. We carefully chose a picturesque spot within the stunning university grounds to make everything perfect for the big moment. When the day arrived, Oscar took Becca back to the university – a place they had already explored together – making her completely unaware of what was about to happen.

Then, in the heart of this historic setting, he dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever. Becca’s reaction said it all – pure joy, excitement and an instant “Yes!”

After the proposal, we spent another hour wandering through the university grounds, capturing their love in the beautiful autumn colours. My goal was to create timeless photographs that would forever remind them of this incredible day – and judging by their smiles, I think we achieved just that.
