Culzean Castle sits majestically on the Ayrshire cliffs. It was built for the Kennedy family, who have a long and fascinating history in Scotland, dating all the way back to Robert the Bruce. The castle is simply outstanding, incorporating everything the earl could have desired in a country home.
But the beauty doesn’t stop at the castle itself. Surrounding it are massive, breathtaking gardens that seem to go on forever. There’s also a wonderful woodland area, perfect for the little ones to explore. And let’s not forget about the kids’ playgrounds – a hit with the whole family. If that isn’t enough, you might even spot some deer!
