Sherbrooke Castle wedding photography

Wedding of Allison and David was a great fun to capture. It was a warm summer day with some clouds on the sky which provided nice and soft lighting conditions.

I have started the day driving to their house to photograph David hanging out with his ushers and getting ready for his big day. Such a cool bunch of people. They made me laugh a lot.

Next stop was Allison parent’s house which was just a few houses away from their place. Very convenient 🙂 and it allowed me to photograph both of them getting ready. It’s not always possible without a second shooter.

After capturing all the getting ready photos we drove to the Sherbrooke Castle where the ceremony was held as well as the rest of the wedding day. I really like this venue. It has a cool looking staircase inside, nice decor and great little garden outside with a view from on the castle from a low angle. Apart from shooting at the venue, I like to photograph my couples on the streets as well (if there are any nice ones around), which we did after a beautiful and emotional ceremony.

I’m a big fan of the speeches part of the wedding when you can listen to some cracking stories and jokes. It’s a real pleasure to capture these emotions. You can see in the photos below that people were laughing out loud including myself.

I managed to take Allison and David outside one more time after their first dance to get some more bride and groom portraits just before the sun went behind the horizon and it got completely dark.

The dance floor was constantly packed with people enjoying their time on this superb wedding. It was a real pleasure to be a part of this wonderful celebration of these two great individuals. Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your happiness and joy!
