I met Lyndsey and John on their wedding day and straight away it felt like I had known them for much longer. They are such an easy going, genuinely lovely couple and the connection between them was obvious from the very start. There was a relaxed, happy atmosphere throughout the day and being part of it felt effortless.
They got married at Bothwell Bridge Hotel, a venue I had not photographed at before, and I really enjoyed discovering it with them. The styling, lighting and small decorative details created a beautiful setting for the ceremony and celebrations. Everything flowed naturally and it made documenting their day a real pleasure.
After the ceremony we made our way to Viewpark Gardens, a quiet and charming spot nearby that worked perfectly for photographs. It gave us space for relaxed group photos as well as some more intimate portraits of Lyndsey and John together, away from the bustle of the wedding day.
It was a beautiful wedding filled with laughter, emotion and so many genuine moments. Looking back through these images still brings a smile to my face and I hope they do the same for you.
