This family session at the Rest and Be Thankful vi
This family session at the Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint was such an incredible experience. The family came all the way from the USA and they absolutely embraced the Scottish spirit (the dad has Scottish roots). The men wore kilts and the women had beautiful traditional touches like tartan wraps and hats. They looked amazing and honestly so many of the photos reminded me of Outlander. We had a ton of fun exploring the area together and at the end of the session we drove to Inveraray to capture some shots with the castle in the background. Rachel and Josh’s session at the Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint was one to remember. Two full hours of heavy rain and strong wind didn’t stop them from making the most of it and embracing everything the day threw at us. The first photo shows just how much rain there was with the flash behind them lighting up every drop and the results are incredible. We also stopped at the Butter Bridge and a waterfall where the water was overflowing so much it covered the usual spot I bring couples to. Brittany and Matt’s couples session in Glencoe was something truly special. They embraced the wind rain and cold with so much joy and energy which gave us the most genuine emotions and raw moments. We started at the Meeting of Three Waters where the waterfall was the biggest I have ever seen and the wild stream created such a dramatic backdrop. Later at the Devil’s Staircase the sky opened up with bright light in the distance while the rain kept falling on us creating the most magical atmosphere. Corrine and Jamie’s wedding at Pollokshields Burgh Hall was such a joy to capture. After being postponed, this day was long awaited and filled with emotion from start to finish. Corrine looked stunning in her elegant dress paired with green shoes that suited her beautifully. Their ceremony was heartfelt and full of tradition with a handfasting and sharing the quaich before everyone danced the night away with a ceilidh. Marie and Stefan celebrated their 25th wedding ann
Marie and Stefan celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in the most special way with a beautiful vow renewal in Glencoe. The ceremony took place at the Three Sisters and was led by the wonderful @alyson.the.humanist . It was filled with so many unforgettable moments. They tied the knot again, shared a drink from the quaiche, and to everyone’s surprise a piper named William started playing during the ceremony. Of course we had to take some photos with him afterwards. Their four children and their partners were there to witness it all and we had such a fun time capturing the laughs, emotions and love that filled the morning.
