Marshall Meadows wedding photography
My second visit to Scottish Borders was simply outstanding. This time I was at a beautiful Marshall Meadows Country House Hotel where I was photographing a wedding of Kathryn and Andrew. The day was sunny and warm from the moment I woke up and I had to arrive early in the morning to document Kathryn hanging out with her family and having her hair and make-up done.
The ceremony was held in a conservatory which was beautifully decorated, but o dear it was so hot there by the time it all started, that I was sweating like crazy. It was very emotional throughout the whole ceremony. Kathryn couldn’t stop crying and soon bridesmaid and both moms were in tears too.
Once the ceremony ended it was time for some family photos and portraits of bride and groom. The grounds of the hotel are really stunning and Kathryn and Andrew were so good in front of the camera that made it easier to create a lot of fun and romantic images in a short time that we had.
After the speeches, everyone was enjoying themselves chatting and drinking. Then I saw the bride and groom sneaking out and walking towards the field where the horses and sheep were. I couldn’t miss those moments so I followed them and captured it all.
The evening party started soon after and the dance floor filled up with people. Great fun :). Here are some photographs that showcase their Big Day.
