Amazing wedding photography Dalmeny Park
I was thrilled to photograph another wonderful wedding at Dalmeny Park Hotel and bring home so many fantastic memories. The wedding of Linsay and Paul was one of those that it’s hard to forget. The first thing that stood out when I entered the bridal room was: it was crowdy! Linsay had 8 bridesmaids and there were both mums, kids, and other people in the room. The second thing was this amazing light blue wedding dress specially designed by Alyce (credit below) which was a surprise to almost everyone. When she put it on she looked like a princess and everyone who saw her was delighted. My favourite moment was when Paul’s daughter who was one of the bridesmaids saw Linsay in the dress for the first time. It was very emotional.
The ceremony took place in the Barrhead Bourock Parish Church, and it was also quite emotional and lovely. They had confetti after the ceremony in front of the church and it was pretty wild when the wind was so strong.
I don’t normally stay in the room during the meals but I knew they had a surprise planned so after I think the second course I came back to capture what was going to happen. Two people dressed like waiters started the early party. They were signing some famous songs and people loved it. It was a great way to start the party. From then it was all music and fun. A superb finish to the day.
