This maternity photography Glencoe session took place on a calm day with beautiful light and sweeping views across the landscape. The session included the mum to be, her husband, their daughter, and later her husbands father, capturing this stage of life as part of a wider family story.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt relaxed and unhurried. Glencoe has a way of setting the pace, encouraging everyone to slow down and simply be present.
The mum to be wore two dresses during the session. A deep red that stood out beautifully against the greens of Glencoe, followed by a soft light purple that worked perfectly as the light softened later on. Both felt completely at home in the landscape.
Their daughter took a little time to settle in, which is very normal. Before long, she was exploring, smiling, and enjoying the space. Giving children room to move and be themselves often leads to the most genuine photographs.
