Autumn family photography Ayrshire – Monica & Sean
This was honestly one of my favourite family sessions from last year. Monica and Sean brought along their young daughter and the three of them were just a joy to photograph. The autumn colours in Eglinton Park were showing off in the best way and gave us such a perfect backdrop.
They had two different outfits for the shoot which worked really well and gave a nice variety to the photos. We started off with some relaxed shots among the trees and the beautiful autumn leaves, then headed over to the old castle ruins for something a bit moodier and more dramatic. It was such a cool contrast and their daughter loved exploring which made for some genuine and fun moments.
This is exactly why I love doing autumn family photography Ayrshire has so many great locations to offer and when you combine that with a happy family and the warm colours of the season it really doesn’t get much better. Sessions like this are a reminder that it’s not just about the pictures it’s about creating memories in places that mean something.
Whenever possible I like to get the parents and do a mini couple session. Many parents are so busy and it’s been a while since they had any photos taken together.
